Volunteer Opportunities

The Library offers opportunities for students to get involved in their Library.

There are several ways for teens, grades 7 - 12, to volunteer at Sherborn Library.

1) Teen Volunteer Email List:

Every school year, the Sherborn Library creates a Teen Volunteer Email List. Those on the list will receive emails about opportunities to volunteer at the library.

If you are interested in adding your name to the Teen Volunteer Email list, please fill out the form here

2) Media Review:

You may write a critical review of an item of media - books, movies, video games, manga, and so forth. Each review submitted, including any edits, counts as 2.0 hours of Community Service. For more information or to submit a review, please see the "Teen Media Review" page

3) Project Proposal:

If you have a volunteer project proposal for the Teen Librarian, you may write her with details of your proposal at qknapp@minlib.net

Previous project proposals have been: locating a food drive at at the library; doing a senior project of prepping for summer reading; teaching an art class to younger students; creating artwork for the Teen Room.

These project proposals will be evaluated on a case by case basis.

4) Adopt-A-Shelf: YA Book Collections

More information to come.
