Click here to register for Sherborn's Summer Reading for kids, teens, and adults! Program runs June 1st through August 24th. Open to all ages, and no Sherborn residency required. Once you've registered, come to Sherborn Library to pick up your registration prize! While supplies last.
This year, the summer reading theme is "Plant a Seed, Read."
Save the date: Thursday, June 18 for the Summer Reading Kick-Off!
1:00-2:00 : Vegetable Circus Acrobat Performance!
2:00-3:00 : Ice Cream Truck
Each kid under 18 registered for summer reading is eligible for 1 FREE ICE CREAM
All Afternoon: Sidewalk Pop-up Booksale hosted by the Friends of the Sherborn Library
The final day to turn in reading raffle tickets is by Monday, August 24. Winners will receive prize emails on Wednesday, August 26.

Welcome to Kids Summer Reading 2026!
Click here to register online for the Kids Summer Reading program, Plant a Seed, Read for Pre-K through rising 6th graders! It is this registration that we will use to track prizes and contact winners - so double check the best contact information to give us!
Once you register, come by the library to choose a book off the Summer Reading Registration Book Cart to celebrate the start of Summer Reading! [While supplies last]
Reading Journal or Log
Pick up a journal or reading log from the Library to keep track of the books you've read throughout the summer. Visit every week to receive a star or other small sticker to mark each title
Raffle Tickets
Raffle tickets will be available at the library starting June 1st or can be downloaded and printed here. Each raffle ticket will have an area to mark off the time you've spent reading.
Once you’ve filled out the raffle ticket, bring it to the library to enter into the giant raffle jar! Then you can start on your next ticket. 60 minutes of reading = one raffle ticket.
Prizes
At the end of June, July, and August we'll draw names for different prizes. Several names will be drawn from the giant raffle jar for monthly prizes. When your name is drawn, you will be contacted and can make your choice of prize from the ones available!
We don’t throw out raffle tickets! If you don’t win one month, you might win the next! And all non-prize winning tickets throughout the summer go into the Grand Prize pot in August.
GRAND PRIZES are two Yoto Mini sets, Squishmallows, and more!
Other monthly prizes include: Lego sets; Pokemon cards; Discovery museum pass; Kpop Demon Hunter Posters; Sticker Books; Plant growing kits; and much much more

Each ticket represents 60 minutes of reading OR 3 activities checked off from the Bingo squares!
Then you can put your raffle tickets one of two places: Raffle Ticket Box or Spin to Win
1) Raffle Ticket Box for the 3 monthly prizes & Grand Prizes

2) Spin to Win! "Spend" a teen raffle ticket to spin the prize wheel and guarantee yourself a small prize - from stickers to candy to cool pens and more!
