Sherborn Library Receives Grant from the Sherborn Business Association
The Sherborn Library is pleased to have been named one of the 2017 Sherborn Business Association's Community Action Fund Grant Recipients. With this matching grant, the SBA has elected to sponsor the Library's new and improved Makerspace, a collaborative workspace for making, learning, exploring and sharing, to be featured in the renovated & expanded Sherborn Library. Library Director Elizabeth Johnston elaborated, "Installation ideas for the new Makerspace include a VHS to DVD converter, sewing machine, metal stamping kit, gift wrapping station, die-cut machine, and hands-on training opportunities. We are delighted to partner with the Sherborn Business Association in this creative effort." Look forward to an innovative, creative Makerspace in our new Library.
