On Wednesday, April 3 the Sherborn Library, the Sherborn History Center & Museum and the Sherborn 350th Celebration Committee co-sponsored a program led by Dr. Christoph Strobel, professor of history at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.  Dr. Strobel joined us to discuss his recent excellent book, Native Americans in New England, that explores the Native peoples who lived, and live, in the Sherborn region. An all-too-overlooked area of history, Dr. Strobel spoke about the rich history beyond the traditional European-American narrative.

In 2024 Sherborn will celebrate the 350th year since incorporation. Come celebrate Sherborn all year as we learn more about our history and look ahead with pride to our future. Each month the Library will host a program in conjunction with the 350th Committee. Click here to visit the Sherborn 350 website that includes a list of all upcoming programs.
