    The Sherborn Library is seeking a Library Building Attendant to work 16 hours a week, including nights and Saturday shifts. The newly renovated and expanded 23,000 sq. ft. Library will be LEED certified and includes a Community Room that is open by reservation and after-hours use to local organizations. The Building Attendant works with the Library Director and staff to help oversee building maintenance.

    Job Summary

    Responsibilities include preparing meeting rooms between activities for use, including arranging and moving furniture, maintaining clean building conditions by vacuuming, dusting, wiping down surfaces, helping to direct tasks of contractual cleaning service. Performs light repairs to building and equipment, monitors building for safety and security and aids in maintaining the exterior grounds. May provide direction to the public in the use of the building and help manage events.

    Qualifications

    Knowledge of cleaning methods and commercials products, trade skills and light to medium power tool equipment operation.

    $21.58/hour
